Since 1974 Attorney Henry B. Hurvitz and his associates have been providing quality legal services to clients throughout the Greater Hartford area.

Hurvitz believes that all legal matters have implications beyond the specific problem we are asked to address.  We are experienced in a wide variety of legal matters that impact individuals, families, and small businesses.  We believe any solution must consider not only the specific legal ramifications, but also how it will affect the other aspects of our client's life.  The law office believes that a problem not only must be solved in a manner consistent with our client's reasonable hopes and expectations, but must also avoid the unintended consequences of a decision not carefully considered.

Our law firm provides legal services to individuals, families and small business.  The firm represents individuals in the myriad areas in which men and women find themselves in need of representation such as family matters (dissolution of marriage, civil unions, custody, support, pre-nuptial agreements; real estate matters (buying, selling or refinancing a home, building or remodeling a home); probate and wills; injuries such as automobile accidents, falls, work-related injuries.

In the commercial and business area, the firm assists in the buying, selling and leasing of commercial real estate, establishing a small business and the representation of the small business.

Attorney Hurvitz is a Special Master in the Hartford and New Britain Courts, assisting the Courts in mediating settlement agreements in dissolution of marriage actions.  Attorney Hurvitz also receives appointments from the Superior Court to sell residential and commercial properties at foreclosure sales.

Attorney Hurvitz was born, raised and educated in the Hartford area. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison (1970) and University of Connecticut Law School (1973).

Our office is located in West Hartford at 924 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, CT.  We are convenient to I-84, Exit 43, Park Road, and we are on the main east-west busline. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. with off-premises and after-hour appointments available.  We strive to be available for you.
